Your almost weekend plans just got better! Stephanie has added a Friday Noon Restorative yoga class to the calendar.
Restorative yoga invites you to experience more rest, less stress. Props, such as blocks, blankets, and bolsters, are used to hold the space of your body in a supported, nurturing way as you navigate layers of your being-ness. These gentle postures are held longer than in other yoga classes to enhance your body’s natural relaxation response, as well as help you alleviate physical, mental, or emotional tension. Restorative yoga is a meditation through static postures. All are welcome in this all-ages, all-levels class.
Props for Class: The upstairs studio has props available, but we do love when you bring your own! Most classes will use 1 bolster, 2 blankets and 2 blocks.
