Yoga in the Woods – An afternoon Retreat!

Need a little break from life and concrete? Come into the woods and let nature heal you!

September 27th we will wander into the wood for an afternoon of pure Bliss! Nadia will take you on an adventure while giving you an interpretive hike; teaching you about the awesome plants and other living things that we have in our area.
Following our warm-up hike we will roll out out mats onto the fresh clean soil and settle into some yoga asanas. The practice is intended for grounding and connecting back to the earth with fun poses like tree pose and the elephant! We will let the fun flow on with a Pot-Luck lunch (brought in by your backpack) and have time to socialize with everyone! The afternoon retreat will be topped off with a cool-down hike back to our worlds!

Where: Snake Hill Rd. Wildlife Management Area (Actual location is TBA)
When: September 27th (Saturday)
Time: 12-4pm
Cost: $30 for the event.

~Please be considerate and bring something to share, or to fill you, for the pot-luck. Beer and wine is totally allowed!

 

Things you might want for the Retreat:

  • Water (I suggest at least 32oz Bottle)
  • Yoga Mat
  • Towel
  • Pot-luck contribution/ Lunch (Food, drinks, snacks, etc.)
  • Bug Spray (patchouli is a great bug deterrent as well)
  • Camera
  • Sturdy Shoes to hike in
  • Breathable clothes
  • Sun Hat
  • Notebook
  • A Smile and good mood!
