Who knew that first yoga class in 1976 using foam rubber cushions would lead to Bliss? From that first experience as a child through other haphazard classes in high school and college, yoga seemed to find me. I began a regular practice at an Iyengar studio in Portland, ME in 2000 and have been on the most amazing journey since.
I learned quickly the impact that yoga could have on me and my life; it provided a stability, sense of self, and avenue of healing during trying times. It continues to provide ease, enlightenment, and strength.
I appreciate the opportunity to share yoga with others so that they too may enjoy it’s benefits. I completed the 200-hour Yoga Alliance training through Bliss Bliss Bliss and 3rd Street Yoga in 2015.
