trataka or candle-gazing is a very good way to help you relax and clear your mind. in fact, it is one of the six shat kriyas which are cleansing practices.

in the hatha yoga pradipika it says, “trataka eradicates all eye disease, fatigue and sloth while closing the door to creating these problems!”

there are many benefits to trataka including:
